it's really funny.

It's Christmas Eve! Time's flown past... we're waiting for my cousin Jill and Tom to arrive, and G's having his nap. It's quiet and peaceful. Dan's made the turkey gravy (yums!) courtesy of a Jamie Oliver recipe, and he's also just made the Jamie Oliver Killer Chocolate Mousse so it'll be a yummy christmas.

Just weighed G last night after a long time not weighing him because the weighing machine's battery died, and he's 12.7kg..which equates to him being somewhere between the 50-75 percentile - excellent stuff. Now we need to measure his height and I'll be happy. It sounds like he's putting on more weight now (he was always hovering around the 50%ile or just below), which is not surprising since he's been eating quite a lot recently (whether that's a growth spurt or whatever...I don't know).

He's taken to eating Olives whole (!?) and spicy food too. he's even had wasabi peas! I think we're pretty blessed to have a toddler who seems to like his food.
