24 weeks weigh in

So, we're now in our 25th week of existence, and he got weighed last thursday (7th Aug), and came in at 7.66kg (16pounds 14 oz) and measuring in at 71cm!! I'm not sure the health visitor got the length quite right, because if she did, he would have grown 5 cm in the last 4 weeks! hm. The weight again's coming in at the 50th percentile, and the height's back on the 98th percentile.

We're going to make an app with a friend's paediatrician to give G a one-time check over. This is the first-time paranoid mum speaking here, so take no notice, but I guess I just wanted a doctor who specialises in babies to have a lookover G and make sure he's all ok! Sounds a bit mad to deliberately make an appointment to see a doctor, but there you go...!

G's also had melon on thursday (loved it) and a cucumber on sunday and thought it was fine too. I know I should be more dilligent about his food intake - I'll try to be more on the ball when he's definitely 6 months! He doesn't seem to want food just yet, and if everyone says he should be breastfed till 6 months, then that's what we're going to do. It's only another week to go anyway.

Getting nervous about our longhaul flight next week - 12 hour flight and 7 hour time difference. Nice. I so want to pack the entire house and the kitchen sink but that's not possible... so we'll make do I guess!
