some more photos of the little one! he's 10 weeks old today (how quick time flies!)...and very active and responsive. Giggles for no rhyme or reason (which is good, compared I suppose to being grumpy and crying!!) and smiles very broadly...

1st Immunisations

G had his first immunisations last wednesday (16th April) and I think I was more traumatised than he was! well, incorrect - he was unaware of it, till the needle went in, at which time he freaked so badly, he ran out of scream. That's right...his mouth opened so wide for a scream, but no sound came out. then he recovered and screamed real loud. But then, only for a min, and we comforted him and he whimpered for a while and settled after 5 minutes. He did very well actually, falling asleep right after that, for the next 2-3 hours.

Mummy on the other hand was most traumatised for the best part of the week, and when it was time to go into the nurse's room, was freaking out. After the doctor administered the injections (1 on each thigh!), the nurse actually patted me on the shoulder and said 'it's all over, mummy, it's ok'...! hmph.

On a better note, we went for a photoshoot at Olan Mills Photography in Mothercare on the weekend and G did very well - check these pics out!!

oh, and we've put in an offer on a 4-bed detached house...?!!? are we mad, in this economic climate!!?!?!
